Oscar Wilde and Charles Griffes had very little overlap in terms of a timeline of artistic output. However, it is helpful to realized that when Griffes was setting Wilde's poems to music, he was not using poems that were already published together as sequences. This means that Griffes was being particular about his poem selections, identifying those that best suited his musical intentions and visual compositions.
